MCentral is the remarkable conversion of the great Pyrmont Woolstores into a residential development of such architectural significance. The goal of this renovation project is to retain the historical built elements of the iconic structural columns and 3.4m high ceiling space, and to introduce contemporary elements that enhances everyday living.

Through the exploration of idealising flexibility and functionality, this project is a clutter-free home space that maximises usage and storage capacity. The 350mm-deep full height joinery system is built as an extension to the L shape kitchenette; accommodating a pull-out kitchen island, a foldable study desk, charging stations for cleaning appliances, and most importantly, smart storage solutions for all life essentials.
