Glassique Studio
Glassique Studio is an optometry practice in Eastgardens where design and care are approached with equal consideration. Rather than adopting the visual language of conventional retail, the project is conceived as a composed interior defined by restraint, material tactility and controlled light.
The spatial experience is shaped through a carefully curated palette of materials, where texture and weight play a central role in establishing atmosphere. Travertine introduces a sense of permanence and solidity, while cork, timber and soft textiles add warmth and acoustic softness at the human scale. These elements are allowed to remain legible, with joinery, furniture and display integrated into a single architectural system rather than treated as separate retail fixtures.
Lighting is deliberately calibrated to support clarity and comfort, prioritising even illumination and visual calm over theatrical emphasis. The result is a studio environment that slows the pace of the typical retail encounter, allowing the processes of consultation, selection and care to unfold within a space that feels measured, tactile and enduring.
