By Sang

By Sang explores how architectural lighting can transform the dining experience. Situated in Zetland, the restaurant features a meditative interior that balances natural and artificial light to create a calm, enveloping atmosphere. The design proposes a seamless transition from daytime brightness to warm, focused nighttime illumination, enhancing spatial intimacy and sensory engagement.

Within a minimal yet expressive framework, the material palette is carefully layered—matte earthen walls, velvet banquette upholstery, and soft leather seating contrast with polished timber and stone. Sculptural ceiling lights and glowing wall niches add drama without excess. The result is an elegant interplay of tone, texture, and light, both ambient and theatrical—curated to heighten the rhythm of the dining ritual.
